After a decade of work as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic, Rich Sandomeno turned his attention to his other passions, metal smithing and jewelry making; Spragwerks was formed in 2003. His career as a mechanic, as well as his upbringing in the post-industrial wasteland of Northeastern New Jersey, clearly informs Rich's aesthetic. His work explores the tense intersection of the organic by the industrial, and particularly the consumption of one by the other. Rich lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
